During your stay in Bizovacke toplice it is possible to organize (exclusively groups) a visit to one or several farms in Bizovac and its surroundings.
These private farms still keep some small collections of tools for soil cultivation that peasants of Slavonia used in the past times. In the same way the visitors can find out more about the modern farm machines that today help by the contemporary way of soil cultivation. What children will find specially interesting and amusing is the livestock, while their parents will surely be interested in architectural look of the old and the new houses, organization of the stall space, cellars and farm buildings for keeping the harvest.
Kind hosts will gladly make the guests acquainted with the folklore tradition and the customs of the Bizovac region, and for all that the tambura music will also be ready. Of course, this whole story would not be complete without the offer of traditional food of Slavonia (home-made ham, "kulen" and sausages, blood sausage, greaves, hard-boiled eggs, home-made cheese, sour cream and bread, famous poppy and walnut loaf, pretzels and sweet crescents, home-made fruit brandy, wine and juices).
If arranged in advance, hunting and fishing lovers will be able to use fishing grounds, which are under charge of Bizovac fishing society, and hunting grounds belonging to Bizovac hunting society.
Younger ones will surely enjoy spending their time on large flower meadows in front of the farms, where they can play some of the old sports – throwing horse-shoes, tug of war, walking in the sack etc.
The hosts will also organize a transport for guests (in both ways) by horse carriage from the Bizovac complex to some of the farms.
Eat well, drink well – and live for another hundred years!
