Dear guests, welcome to the springs of the long
disappeared sea!!!
Pannonian sea (Parathetys) had been connected to
the ocean Tethys (today's
Mediterranean sea) with
long and wide channels, but then, 10 milion years ago, slowly set apart into a number of smaller pools – Pannonian, Caspian, Aegeian pool or into big lakes. Today's remainings of these pools are fresh water Balaton lake and small closed seas in Asia - Aral, Caspian and Black. Here in Bizovac, in rich Croatian plaine, in tame city surrounded by corn fields, is the spring of the ancient Pannonian sea. From the depth of nearly 2000 meters comes the gift of nature. Healthy water that was untouched for thousands of years. Salty almost as the Adriatic sea, very rich on minerals, warmer than any other known thermal water (96 degrees Celsius at the spring).
