The Clinic is an independent institution placed in a separate building and founded on March, 23rd 1995 and its goal is to offer medical protection in the area of physical medicine and rehabilitation based on the contract with the Croatian institute for medical insutance and private users. Bizovac Clinic uses a very modern equipment. 

Hydrotherapy
is done in the pools with common and thermomineral water, in Hubbard and Fischer bathtubs, and they are equipped with the machines for underwater massage and with two Smarti - Biserne tub systems for hydromassage.

Kineziotherapy
is done in a small gym for individual excercises and in small groups, and in the hotel fitness gym. When doing a kineziotherapy, we use a machine for passive continuous knee movements - Kinetec.

The Clinic uses a machine for interminent pneumatic compression which is used for lymph drainage.

Patients with health problems undergo following thermoprocedures:
+ kriotherapy,
+ paraphine,
+ solux,
+ ultrasound,
+ laser,
+ and also to UV radiation.

The Clinic is also equipped with the machines for electroprocedures like
+ machines for dry galvanisation,
+ galvanic cell baths,
+ ultrastimulative electricity,
+ TENS,
+ electrostimulation and magnetotherapy.

In addition to the mentioned machines, we also offer therapies based on hand massages, underwater massages, and, in a lesser volume, work therapy.

Indications for a rehabilitation in Bizovac spa are 
+ illnesses and the injuries od the muscular and bone system:
  - orthpedic and traumatic rehabilitation,
  - cronic reumatic diseases,
  - acute reumatic diseases in inactive phase,
  - rehabilitation of sports injuries and
  - the syndrome of overstraining
+ cronical painfull conditions,
+ brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves injuries,
+ as many other neurological diseases:
  - multiple sclerosis,
  - polinerophaty and
  - cerebral paralysis.

The positive effect of thermomineral water is noticed with the patients suffering from psoriasis, where 80 percent of the patients noticed the diminuition of skin changes.

The results of the usage of thermal water in Bizovac spa show that it helps in curing other diseases that were not mentioned here.

Counterindications for curing with thermomineral water are unspecific, i. e. normal when doing physical procedures: cardiological diseases, bad general condition and alike.

Cardiological patients use thermomineral water which is cooled to an adequate temperature, so that they use more of the favourably characteristics of the water than its warmth, and the same goes for some other diseases.
